Patient Alerting Logistics (PAL) today announced that Zubin Pachori, MD will serve as chief medical strategy officer (CMSO) for the innovative critical healthcare messaging firm. In his new position, Dr. Pachori will lead strategic product research and planning, analysis of the competitive landscape and external business environment as well as measure progress and performance towards strategic goals.
Combining backgrounds in both business and clinical leadership, most recently Dr. Zubin Pachori was a co-founder and a practicing physician at Premier Inpatient Partners (PIP), a physician owned and operated independent group of hospitalists and post-acute care specialists. He helped build PIP into a well-respected and effective medical management and staffing company. Prior to that, he was a practicing hospitalist at the Schumacher Group, a leader in clinical practice management spanning the full continuum of care.
“Dr. Pachori’s unique clinical and business background will make a substantial contribution to our success,” says Paul Dandrow, PAL Chairman and CEO. “As a hospitalist, he is skilled at managing the broad range of interactions across the healthcare continuum that is necessary to deliver the highest level of patient care. As a founder of Premier Inpatient Partners, he is also an experienced entrepreneur and business manager. At PAL, he will apply this expertise to help us continually improve our reliable immediate communications system spanning healthcare’s many moving parts to help keep patents safe. We are excited to have him on our team.”
“Many patient care problems can be traced to ineffective communications across today’s disconnected healthcare ecosystem,” comments Dr. Pachori. “I have witnessed this numerous times in the practice of medicine today. I am excited to join a company focused on changing this with a sophisticated real-time digital patient communication system and look forward to contributing to the firm.”
About Patient Alerting Logistics (PAL)
No one should be harmed or die because of a medical intervention meant to save their life. Yet, every year thousands of people suffer needlessly due to a failure to communicate critical patient information across the entire healthcare ecosystem. A case in point are those who miss mission-critical messages about medical devices implanted in their own bodies. Hospitals, providers, device manufacturers and many others, as well as patients themselves all must contribute to deliver the message.
PAL’s mission–and passion–is facilitating this. By eliminating the archaic, manual processes in place today, PAL closes a significant communications gap and supports comprehensive information exchange and collaboration among all healthcare constituents, improving patient safety and saving lives. . . potentially the life of someone you know. PAL leverages leading edge technology, proven processes and an innovative perspective to create an ultra-reliable, modern communications system achieving one seemingly simple but challenging goal: immediate, reliable delivery of mission critical healthcare messaging to enhance patient care. With PAL: Message sent. Message delivered. Every time.
